Unsurpassed performance for applications requiring either digital or analog control of laser output where 100% shutoff between pulses is necessary.

In the analog-input configuration, the input signal is followed to greater than 3 MHz. Shut-off in this case is just shy of 100% since the laser must remain in the active range to provide linear response.

In the digital-input configuration, the LFX laser will follow the input frequency to greater than 200 kHz, and the LFX laser turns completely OFF between pulses. This is accomplished by advanced circuitry which brings the laser's current well below the threshold.

The LFX offers this high performance in addition to the ruggedness and high quality optical characteristics of the MDL series.

Circularized laser modules available. Laser produces a 1mm collimated circular spot directly out of the laser. This spot increases to the size of a dime at about a 20 foot range due to diffraction.
