HOLOGRAPHIC ADAPTER
Have a laser collimator, but would like holographic target pattern? Upgrade your collimator with a TLC-22 Holographic Adapter.

HOW TO USE THE TLC 202N
The simple procedure is as follows: the astronomer desiring to check or align a Newtonian telescope simply removes the eye piece and inserts the TLC in the focuser, locks it down and switches it on. The projected laser dot and pattern are used to center the secondary mirror to the eye piece aperture. Then, the secondary mirror is aligned to center the projected pattern on the primary mirror. The primary mirror mount is adjusted to reflect the laser pattern off the secondary back to the aperture of the laser. That is all that is required to quickly troubleshoot and align your Newtonian telescope.

The standard TLC-202N model comes with a removable holographic filter that projects a "scope pattern" that features a central laser dot with a crosshairs image and a concentric ring pattern. These holographic patterns are the standard for critical industrial machine alignment processes. The TLC-202N is a precision diode laser system that fits both 1.25" and 2" focusers. The TLC-202N is powered by 3 AA alkaline batteries and will operate for a minimum of 12 hours continuously.

The TLC series is made exclusively by LaserMax, Inc., a leader in the development of innovative and rugged laser products for space science, defense, law enforcement, medical and industrial applications worldwide. Our specialists have provided optical products for projects ranging from the Hubble Space Telescope, Space Shuttle experiments to systems for the B-2 Bomber and the Space Station Freedom.
