LS and ML Series Accessories

The LAS, LSX, and MDL visible and infrared laser series may be purchased with optional components including line generator optics, collimators, lens adapters and laser mounts. The following accessories are provided to allow the user to customize the lasers to fit the application.

LS-10 10X Telescopic Collimator - The Telescopic Collimator is a precision Galilean telescope that attaches to the front of the laser. This lens collimates and expands the beam by 10X. The LS-10 also allows near field focus of a diffraction limited spot as close as 20" from the collimator and will reduce the spot size at 100 yards from 4" to 3/8" The input end thread is 1" x 32 TPI. LS-15 1"-32/Microscope Lens Adapter Kit - A 2-part set with a 1"-32 TPI adapter that attaches to the front face of the laser with two 4-40 Allen head screws. Standard C-mount lenses, collimators, spatial filters and accessories can be readily screwed in place on the front of the laser. The microscope adapter is a threaded ring that screws into the above adapter and is drilled and tapped in the middle to accept standard microscope objectives for fine focus. See diagram

ML-21 MDL to LAS Adapter/Heat sink - An adapter head that allows the user to mount a MDL or LFX with a LAS and LSX accessory. This also acts as a heat sink for a MDL or LFX laser module. See diagram

LS-55 Laser Mount - Holds any LAS or LSX Laser, and can be used in conjunction with the ML-21 to mount to any MDL or LFX Laser. Allows attachment to standard 1/4"-20 series mounts and posts. This unit is a compact mount that clamps to the front of the laser barrel and provides additional thermal mass and a 1" optical height. See diagram

LS-75-X Line Generator - Available in divergence angles of 15, 30, 45 or 70 degrees, please specify. This optical assembly attaches to the front face of the laser and provides a laser line for alignment of medical or industrial processes. See diagram

Diffractive Pattern Generators

LS-90/LS-91 Scientific Grade Beam Circularizers - Accessories that mount to the face of LAS and LSX series lasers to produce 1mm or 4mm circular beams respectively with visible (650-680nm) light. A 2mm circular beam results with the LS-90 or LS-91 mounted on 780mm and 830mm lasers. This option must be installed by the factory at the time of purchase to assure correct alignment. See diagram
